The U Cometh.

I’m a gadget freak. And I’m totally OK with that. I like being on the edge of technology, and I enjoy tinkering and exploring new tech.

Let me explain a bit. I went looking for a laptop near the end of last year. Something small and light that I could carry back and forth to work to use for ordering and notes and things of that nature. I quickly found that nothing in the US was really going to fit my list of criteria. It seems that the trend in the US these days in laptops is Bigger. Bigger screen, DVD Drives so you can watch movies, Huge power sucking processors. (And while those things DO appeal to me on some level, they are not something I want to be lugging back and forth to work every day.) I eventually found myself browsing overseas. Japan to be specific. You see, the Japanese are significantly more mobile than we are over here. Wi-Fi is alot more widespread. They use more public transportation it seems. And they seem to be looking for and creating more “Ultra portable” machines. Long story short, I ended up buying a Japanese Laptop and having it converted to English.
